What does that mean? I’ve always been an advocate for the people—whether friends, family, or colleagues within the organizations I’ve worked for. Taking care of people comes naturally to me, and recently, I’ve made it my greater mission to help as many as I can. While this started in health and fitness, it has expanded over the past few months.
No, I haven’t started a new career—at least not yet. But as someone navigating this tough job market, I understand firsthand how exhausting and frustrating it can be. Despite the challenges, I remain intentional about the roles I apply for while keeping communication open with my network.
Since the start of the year, I’ve seen countless job postings. While many don’t align with my goals, they might be the perfect fit for someone in my network. So, if you see me “liking” or “commenting” on a job post, it’s to help get it in front of the right eyes. I want to support others in the same position as me.
Recently, I came across Twill (thanks to someone in my network liking a job update from someone in their network – an indirect referral), a platform designed to connect job seekers with opportunities through trusted referrals. It’s something I wish I had thought of years ago! It allows people—like me—to validate and refer candidates for specific roles. Don’t worry organizations…we’re here to help you too! 💡
I know they say “you can’t pour from an empty cup,” but I don’t have it in me to sit back while others struggle.
I’ve built a vast network from colleagues and clients, many of whom are also searching for their next opportunity. I’ve had direct conversations with people saying, “I don’t know why, but I feel like you’re someone I can talk to about this.” For years, I’ve helped with resumes, applications, and interview prep.
If only I could clone myself to give the same guidance to… myself! 🥷
So, I say it again: Help me help you. If you’re an engineer, designer, sales rep, operations specialist, project manager, or even a C-level executive looking for your next opportunity, I have some great roles I’d like to get you in front of. If you prefer to keep things private, message me directly.
Now more than ever, we are our greatest advocates. Let’s lift each other up.
